Accredited courses

St Mellitus’ Certificate, Diploma and Degree courses are open to independent students as well as ordinands and Readers. If you are interested in exploring your faith more deeply, but don’t feel called to ordination or any other ‘full-time’ ministry, you can still study theology and ministry with us at St Mellitus. You can either do this at St Paul’s Theological Centre on Monday mornings, or with North Thames Ministerial Training Course on Tuesday evenings in east London or Thursday evenings in Chelmsford. Unlike ordinands and Readers, independent students only study during weekdays and one non-residential study week per year, and do not normally attend residential weeks.
